My Coaching Style
Coaching with me is a co-creative journey. You know a lot more than you may be aware of, so I hold space and respect for your inner knowing. I provide structure and offer guidance as needed. We create a flexible plan, so you're not floundering. We practice communication and other skills - a lot. We have fun and celebrate!
I’m grateful for my diverse education and extensive practical experience. My ability to be 100% present when listening and to ask deeper questions helps you gain clarity, awareness, and break through your obstacles. When you get lost in your stories, I'll gently guide you back. I intuitively know when to challenge you, and you can slow things down - or speed them up. Again, we'll practice together - a lot - so you can continue practicing in between sessions.
Coaching is goal and growth-oriented, NOT therapy. The process is more like taking a lesson (sports, music, etc.) than therapy. A range of emotions may come up. We tend to them, learn from them, and move on without getting stuck. Have you ever become frustrated or triggered while doing anything, especially learning something new? It happens. Fortunately, I am an empath and a high achiever, so the blend of the two works well in helping my clients move forward quickly and with grace. We always find laughter, play, and joy along the way. We celebrate small and big wins. You will change, and your life will change - for the better.
